I know I haven't actually updated now what seems like a while, I got tons of shit to worry about right now so I don't have the desire nor the will to make any kinda update. I have at my possession A LOT of albums to come on the way. My grandparents are here for a visit from over seas, I need to find a new job, need to get my fucking MATH CREDIT OR UM !@#%!@%! SCREWED. I think i'll have some time in a 2-3 days I'll make sure the update is nice and fat.

Peace out.

I went on a school trip today, first of all only about 20 students it almost seemed there was more teachers then students but eh... thats how my school works. The trip was great because I finally got out of the fucking City with all the pollution and shit! We only spent an hour and a half doing activities then had launch and were already on our way back. Alright enough of this Diary bullshit here is some music:

Artist: Dragonlord
Album: Black Wings Of Destiny

When I had my mp3 player I would listen to this album over and over, its really powerful symphonic black metal. This album has the incredible abilty to start and finish. A must have!!!! Some tracks that stand out, "The Curse Of Woe" , "Revelations".

Artist: Dismember
Album: Where Ironcrosses Grow
Published: 2004

Comments: This album has come in to my hands only a few days ago and i'm loving this death metal, very profound rifts with nice and powerful vocals, with rough and aggressive instruments behind it. The kind I could get more of. Some tracks to look forword to: "Me God", "Chasing The Serpent" those tracks sure pack a punch.

1. Where Ironcrosses Grow
2. Forged With Hate
3. Me God
4. Tragedy Of The Faithfull
5. Chasing The Serpent

Artist: Massacre
Album: From Beyond
Published: July, 1991

Comments: Death Metal pioneers blast out classic thrash riffs, Kam Lee's barking vox, and some songs you can actually remember (a death metal rarity) and you get one of this genre's best albums. I don't know what it is about this album, but I just keep turning it up louder and louder and loving it. The must check out songs: "Cryptic Remains", "Symbolic Immortality", " Chamber Of Ages".

01 - N/A
02 - Cryptic Remains
03 - Biohazard
04 - Chamber Of Ages

Enough talk I present you the following albums.

Artist: Devin Townsend

Comments: I could never really get in to Devin Townsend, I will tell you that this album is thier best work, I actually felt the powerful atmosphere they created in this album. 5. Canada

Artist: Ominous
Album: Intercorpse
Published: 2005

Comments: A rare album I was trying to find info on it at some good sources and nothing... hell no one really knows about this band but I'd say this is better then average Death metal. The production is lacking a bit but other then that has good pronounced rifts, the vocals are also distorted but managable.

Two Death Metal Albums

I got to admit i'm pretty exited about this blog thinggy. I'm getting a little ahead of myself but I got the whole blog interface memorized and worked out. I'm hosting all my album images on some next host which goes to show that I have many plans for this little vanture I imbarked upon. Btw this May 24 long weekend is a real pain in the buttocks since I got tons of math homework to catch up on while the year is slowly escaping my comfort zone. With that being said here are the albums:

Artist: Avulsed
Album: Yearning For The Grotesque
Published: February, 2003

Comments: Say hello to Avulsed one of not many Spanish metal bands... that are actually good. This is thier second last album and its pretty damn good. Its straight forword death metal, I was impressed with the some original rifts and for some reason this group reminds me of Bloodbath..? Goes to show i'm not much of a judge when it comes to Death Metal. Album highlights "Wormeaten" and "Pale red blood"
1. Wormeaten
2. Devourer of the d
3. Pale red blood
4. Sick sick sex
5. Paddy stew
6. I feel good
7. Foetivorous marri
8. Morbid chef
9. Cadaver decapitad
10. Decrepit sigh

Artist: Dissection
Album: The Somberlain
Published: 1993

Comments: This is Dissection's first album and what a great start they made. Unlike their later albums this one is purely Black metal and a very good one at that although I more of a melodic style fan, from hyperfast speeds dissection also knows how to progress, slow down tempos, and even sometimes through in a cool metal riff every now and then. Album highlights "The Somberlain" , "A Land Forlorn".

1. Black Horizons
2. The Somberlain
3. Crimson Towers
4. A Land Forlorn
5. Heaven's Damnation
6. Frozen
7. Into Infinite Obscurity
8. In The Cold Winds Of Nowhere
9. The Grief Prophecy / Shadows Over A Lost Kingdom
10. Mistress Of The Bleeding Sorrow
11. Feathers Fell

The Blog? yeah sure okey. I'm gonna give this nifty little diary system a try and satisfy my need to share music with the world. I'm currently a total newbie to the metal scene but I have a lot of albums so i'm on my way to a better understand. I'd like to share songs and albums, the files will be either a mixed CD I made a while back or an actual album.

Artist - Quo Vadis
Album - Forever
Published - April 10th, 1996

Comments: This is Quo Vadis's first CD and first attempt at music and I must say it is fantastic technical metal, the songs are catchy interesting and well balanced. Great drums and good guitar and well matching vocals. Songs I liked the most were "Legions Of The Betrayed" and "The Day The Universe Changed" one was great prog metal and the other amazing solo mix up.

01 - Legions Of The Betrayed
02 - As I Feed The Flames Of Hate
03 - Carpae Deum
04 - Mystery
05 - Inner Capsule (Element Of The Ensemble Part II)
06 - Pantheon Of Tears
07 - Zero Hour
08 - The Day The Universe Changed
09 - Nocturnal Reflections

Artist - Quo Vadis
Album - Day Into Night
Published - March 30th, 2000

Comments: Quo Vadis's second album and in my opinion even better then the first, its more energetic more rythmic and the guitar has been improved the recording seems to be better then the first one. The vocals don't have that edge the first one had but still hold thier own. A track I thought was really great is number 5. "let it burn" and 2. "dysgenics". Overall a must have.
  1. Absolution (Element Of The Ensemble III)
  2. Dysgenics
  3. Hunter/Killer
  4. Hunter/Killer: Endgame
  5. Let It Burn
  6. Dream
  7. On The Shores Of Ithaka
  8. Night Of The Roses
  9. I Believe

Artist - Rhapsody
Album - Symphony Of Enchanted Lands
Published - October 25th, 1998

Comments: Meh, not a very special peice although I must admit Rhapsody is one of the better power metal bands out there. This album is pretty funny the vocals are great the instruments are good too, but I find this album a bit cheesy and goofy. Later albums by Rhapsody are better IMO. Some tracks to look forword to Heroes Of The Lost Valley, Beyond The Gates Of Infinity.
  1. Epicus Furor
  2. Emerald Sword
  3. Wisdom Of The Kings
  4. Heroes Of The Lost Valley
  5. Eternal Glory
  6. Beyond The Gates Of Infinity
  7. Wings Of Destiny
  8. The Dark Tower Of Abyss

Artist - Rhapsody
Album - Symphony Of Enchanted Lands ii - The Dark Secret
Published - Semptember 27th, 2004

Comments: Well this is a much better represntation of what Rhapsody can do, in my opinion this is a much more energetic and overall more polished album then the first Symphony. The vocals are great the drums are fast and pronounced. What more do you want? Must have. Key song "UnHoly WarCry" very rythmic song.

1. The Dark Secret - Ira Divina
2. Unholy Warcry
3. Never Forgotten Heroes
4. Elgard's Green Valleys

Artist - Agathodaimon
Album - Chapter III
Published - 2002

Comments: One of the best melodic black metal I have come across very melodic, the vocals could use some work but other then that they get the atmospher perfect. This group is from Germany and they are probably one of the better German black metal bands. Some key tracks the "Ending of our Yesterday", "An Angel's Funeral". I currently only own this album, but I would like more by this group.
  1. An Angel's Funeral
  2. Spirit Soldier
  3. Paradise Beyond
  4. The Ending Of Our Yesterday
  5. Past Shadows
  6. Yesterday's Reprise
  7. Departure

Artist - Control Denied
Album - The Fragile Art Of Existence
Published - 2002

Comments: This the first and last album made by Control Denied a band formed by members from the 80's death metal band "Death" in persue of a more progressive/thrash/power approach to metal. And I must say its a pretty damn good album. Vocals are clear and direct. Guitar work is powerful and direct, drums are outstanding. First track on the album is something to look forword to.
  1. Consumed
  2. Breaking The Broken
  3. Expect The Unexpected
  4. What If.....?
  5. When The Link Becomes Missing
  6. Believe

Artist - Thy Serpent
Album - Forests Of Witchery
Published - 1996

Comments: Fantastic Finnish Melodic Black/Death Metal. The album is made up of 6 long tracks each contains amazing atmosphere. This album is a must have for all melo bl/deth lovers. I don't think any other band out there has the same feel as this one. IMO, this is thier best work. Songs to look for, ALL.

1. A Traveller Of Unknown Plains
2. Like A Funereall Veil Of Melancholy
3. Of Darkness And Light
4. Only Dust Moves...
5. The Flowers Of Witchery Abloom
6. Wine From Tears

Artist - Alchemist
Album - Organasm
Published - 2000

Comments: Good atmospheric rythyms and prog-metalish music, although I will point out that they sound grindcorish and thrashy at times and its a good thing. This metal style is slower the usual but still totally unique. Instrumentals are good while vocals need to be more dynamic. Songs to look for "Austral Spectrum" great start of for the album and "Surreality".

1. Austral Spectrum
2. Part 1 - The Bio Approach
3. Part 2 - Rampant Macro Life
4. Part 3 - Warning Tribes - Eventual Demise
5. Single Sided
6.Surreality

Artist - Entombed
Album - Clandestine
Published - 1991

Comments: Didn't listen to this album much so here is a review from elsewhere, "After a couple solid but unneccesary ep's Entombed give us their last blast of pure death, and it's a mighty wallop. Vocalist Johnny Dordevic has a mighty roar, and the band blast us into the Left Hand Path. A bit to long for a death release, but a must for the fan."

01 - Living Dead
02 - Sinners Bleed
03 - Evilyn
04 - Blessed Be
05 - Stranger Aeons
06 - Chaos Breed
07 - Crawl
